About the Tour
This walking tour takes you through the Ping Shan Heritage Trail, the first heritage walk opened in 1993. Appreciate the traditional archtecture in the villages of Hong Kong and the amazing rural development.
Starting from the Tsui Sing Lau Pagoda, currently the oldest pagoda in Hong Kong, head to acknowledge one of the most iconic wall village, the Sheung Cheung Wai. Next, proceed towards the Yeung Hau Temple, one of the 7 temples which offered the old Chinese general who protect the emperor escaped from China to Hong Kong. Stroll along the Tang’s Clan Ancestral Hall to get the idea of finest construction of old Chinese style and in used today. Finish the experience at Kun Ting Study Hall after learning about the studying from the past and importance of study in the building which full of beautiful craftmanship. Participants can learn more about Chinese craftsmanship and traditional culture through the trip.
