“Colonial Memory” Central history tour
About the Tour
To understand what has been going on in recent years and what makes Hong Kong unique, we must take a look back into the colonial history of Hong Kong.
We will start from the Government HQ in Admiralty, pass by the military base and walk our way into the business centre of Central. Along they way we will see the historic landmark that tells both funny and sad stories about how my father and others came to Hong Kong, 1989, the Handover, invasion of Japan, and Fung Shui battle among corporate empires.
At last, next to a tranquil corner, we will see the first church ever built in Hong Kong and find the one and only British Hong Kong flat that symbolizes the colonial Hong Kong spirit.
Michelin lunch: roast goose or shrimp dumplings. Your choice!
